California - Ramona Turtle Rock

Turtle Rock Winery - We went for a tasting, but the winery was not open. We verified the operating hours. Oh well, maybe another time. We did look around the outdoor tasting room and see why it is a popular winery in Ramona. We were lucky enough to get back to the winery for one of their special events; wine glass painting. Thank you to Ian, Laurie and Barbara for an enjoyable evening of friendship, food (fresh made pizza with your choice of toppings, salad and pot de creme) and wine. My wife enjoyed their sangria and I enjoyed the Temperanillo. As the sun set through the vineyard, we drove back to our resort. The wine glasses are now sitting in our cabinet as a reminder of our time in CA.
